Quite the Road Trip

We recently got back from quite the road trip. We first spent a few days in Provo with most of my family there and had a lot of fun. We played a lot of games, tennis and wii....good times!
Then we went on to Colorado for a couple days, and then on to Texas to check out the school, the city and have my interview. (The school and cancer center were really nice. Parts of the city were nice and parts were ghetto. We didn't get to see much because it was a really quick trip but we do know that we are for sure moving there at the end of this month for me to go to Radiation Therapy school, so we'll get to know the place better then. So Texas here we come!)

We then went back to Colorado and spent a fun-filled week playing with all of the fun family we have there. We went to parks, played yard games, had water fights, made smores, ate amazingly yummy food and just had a lot of fun. The kids loved playing with so many cousins, Aunts and Uncles, and Grandma and Grandpa Harris.

My Return to the Dark Side

So it was time for my annual (or biannual :) hair color change. I like to have a little fun with my hair and change things up a bit. So this time my hair people were Jake and my mom. We started off with a dark red brown die that Jake did. Then a few days later my mom weaved in a dark brown color into it to break it up a little bit. They both did a great job and it's been a fun color to have! Depending on what lighting I'm in kind of determines what the color looks like.... :)

Pre-School Graduation Posing

Dal had a little graduation from his preschool and they got to go up front in their little cap and gown and stand there for a picture. Stand there is what most of the other kids did, but when Dal got up there he started busting out the poses. It was so funny. All of the parents got a good chuckle. Unfortunately we didn't have our video camera to really capture the moment and all of his amazing poses, but we did manage to snap a few pictures to catch a couple of them. (He also got to take a picture with his best friend from school, Cash)

Montana Fun

We took a little trip to Montana to visit my parents, help my mom with her Spring landscaping and other projects and so the kids could have a blast. They absolutely love Montana! They love the big yard, the animals, the trampoline, the 4-wheelers, "grandpa's workshop", playing with grandma and grandpa, going to great-grandma and grandpa's house, and according to Dal, "the bumpy dirt road" :)
Some hose and sprinkler fun While we were there, Collin, Tiffany and Landon came up for the weekend. It is always fun to get to hang out with them.
My mom had me buzz her hair while we were there, which was kind of crazy. I never imagined doing that before. She handled it a lot better then she thought she would. She's got some really cute scarfs and she also has a really cute wig. She's done two treatments of chemo so far and when we were there she was feeling pretty sick and worn down from the chemo. She's also had a lot of problems with her stitches healing and such. But she's been really strong through it all.

It's always wonderful to see my grandparents when we are in Montana. The kids love playing over there too.
Braelyn & Grandpa
We went on some fun 4-wheeler rides. Grandpa and Dal went on lots of rides :)
Fun Outside Time

Cute Cousin Time

Trampoline Time!
Dal & Braely Rae spent a lot of time on the tramp. Dal would bounce B-Rae and she would laugh and laugh.
Dal also practiced his cool moves
Cartoon Time!

It was a great trip!

Pre-Bedtime Fun

A couple of months ago Collin, Tiffany and Landon came and stayed with us for a night. It was tons of fun and we got some cute pics of the kids together before bed. Our camera is broken so we haven't taken any pics lately but Tiffany gave me these and I just realized that I hadn't posted them, so here there are. The kids are growing so much and are just so much fun!

Also this past month I turned the big 3-0. I can't believe I've left my twenties. Where has time gone? It's been an adventurous 30 years (especially this last one) and I feel so blessed to have a wonderful husband and two happy and healthy kids. I'm sure my 30's will bring many new adventures (starting with moving and beginning a Radiation Therapy program), so I'm just going to brace myself and enjoy the crazy ride :)
