Summertime

At the end of Dal's 3rd grade year he was given a Citizenship award which is awarded to those who were good to others or helped other kids.Good job Dal!

Brae didn't miss much school so she received an outstanding attendance award. Good job B!

I was shocked to see this little bunny out my window at work one day. It was so shocking because that window area is like a big pit. Some nice people at work helped rescue the bunny and get it back up to its other baby bunny siblings.

The Harris Coloradians and Emily came and visited us this summer. It was really fun to have them here and we had a great time.

And of course we had to eat some yummy Cafe Rio :)

We had some crazy rain storms which nearly flooded our basement, did flood our neighbors basement so we spend hours helping them get buckets of water out, and it delayed our yard getting put in.

Dal is quite the lego builder and it's cool to see the creations he comes up with

Mads and I and Dal and Brae had fun playing the Angry Birds game one Sunday afternoon

I just love that cute face!

I took the kids to the fair with Eva and Miranda and we had a lot of fun. We went on lots of rides, saw some animals and ate some food. By the end of our riding rides streak I was feeling pretty sick because a lot of the rides spin round and round. After we ate pizza Dal went on the Gravitron again and he threw up, but it didn't seem to phase him much :)

Camp Invention: Every summer here they have some pretty awesome camps and activities for kids at really great prices. Both Dal and Brae did a variety of fun camps. This is the second year that Dal did Camp Invention and he loved it.

Our finally finished yard. This was pretty much a whole summer project and it took a lot of work and a lot of stress but it was so nice to finally have it done. We still have to figure out what we are going to plan in the front and do that this nextSpring but it is so nice to have a yard. It is amazing how much you take grass for granted until you have nothing but dirt.

AAMD Orlando June 2015

In June I went to the annual AAMD meeting for Dosimetrists in Orlando, FL. The conference was awesome! I also got to do some fun things while there and I ate some great food! While there I got to spend some time at Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios. Because I was by myself I got to go in the single rider lines which were really short and I got to go on some of my favorite rides multiple times.

I love the Hulk ride

This is probably one of my favorite rides. It is a major free fall and I love that free fall feeling!

I also got to spend some time in the new Harry Potter land! It was awesome. I got to ride the Hogwarts Express between the parks and go on some of the new rides.

There was a cool Gringotts Bank ride

This was my view out my window at the hotel I stayed at, it was also where my conference was at. It was the Marriot Grand Lakes Orlando. It was super nice.

I also got to spend some time at Epcot center which was kind of cool to check out all of the cool countries and some cool rides. Unfortunately it rained like crazy which literally put a bit of a damper on the day because some of the rides closed down and they were some of the new ones that I've never been on, but maybe next time. I ate some awesome food in Norway and some great guacamole in Mexico.

Happy 60th Birthdays & Braelyn Rocks Kindergarten!

My parents both turned 60 in May so we invited them over so we could throw them a 60th Birthday Party. Collin & Tiffany and fam joined us as well. We had a great weekend with everyone! For the party we let my parents each pick their own special dessert and then we had some presents too.
Our kids love their cousins

We went on a little hike up White Mountain and it was pretty windy and chilly but it was fun to enjoy some of the rugged beauty around here.

We find this pretty little flower in the middle of dirt and sagebrush

Braelyn had her end of year Kindergarten program and then awards in their classrooms. This is what they do here instead of Kindergarten graduation.
They sang some cute songs
This is the award Braelyn received. Her teacher had some pretty awesome things to say about her. She said that she is so smart and blew out of the water every standardized test that they took and was the top of the class. She also said that Braelyn could do anything she wants and that she will probably make a lot of money someday with an awesome career :) It was just fun to hear how highly her teacher thought of her because we think she is pretty awesome too. Another nice thing about Braelyn is she is such a sweet and thoughtful girl too. Love that girl!
