Baby Bath

One thing that I love about our sink is how deep it is and the faucet can be a soft sprinkler, a power sprayer or regular water flowage. Madelyn was enjoying the soft sprinkler mode for her bathtime :)

Just look at that cute happy little face :)

Madelyn Discovering New Skills

Madelyn has become quite the cute mess maker, or should I say hands on explorer lately. After becoming a crawling machine she loves to pull herself up to anything she can and she loves to empty anything she can too :)

I also have also caught her emptying her bottom drawer in her closet. If she gets into our closet then she will empty our laundry basket. She is pretty good at throwing clothes around :)

Today we discovered that she learned a new trick. I had walked down the hall in the living room and after a bit I realized that she hadn't followed me like she usually does so I walked back down the hall and found her in the bathroom pulling the toilet paper off the roll and then she was doing some speed shredding of the toilet paper. I couldn't believe how much toilet paper she had shredded in a matter of seconds. That silly, crazy, cute baby! :)

We just love this cute baby who is growing up too fast!

Princesses and Horses

A friend of mine from work gave us a couple beautiful dresses that her daughter had grown out of. We were very happy to be the recipients of her hand me downs :)

Madelyn loves riding on Daddy's shoulders...just look at that cute smile. I think one reason she likes it is because she gets to grab his awesome hair :)

My cousin who lives in Green River was so nice to invite us to ride horses with them.                        Braelyn was so excited to ride the horse and once she got on she didn't want to get off

Dal was a little hesitant to get on the horse but once he got on he thought it was pretty cool.

It was a beautiful day for riding.

Happy Easter!

We had a great Easter! The night before we had the kids set their baskets out so that the Easter bunny could fill them and hide them so that the kids could look for them in the morning.
This was my basket (it also had some chocolate in it :)

Braelyn had this purple basket. Dal had a cool blue one.
Madelyn enjoyed trying to eat her basket
Madelyn wore her bunny pajamas to bed the night before Easter so she was our little baby bunny and was soooo cute :)

We also did a special Easter egg hunt where the eggs had scriptures in them and little items to help us remember Christ, the atonement and the resurrection. We also watched some cool videos on lds.org about Christ and Easter.

We did some egg coloring

And then it was off to church.

After church we had a wonderful Easter dinner (thanks to our awesome chef daddy :)

St. George

I went to St. George for work to visit a couple cancer centers and since it was Dal's spring break the whole family came and we did some fun things while we were there. We enjoyed the warm weather, the beautiful red rock, swimming at the hotel, etc.
Enjoying the red rocks and exploring at Pioneer Park

We went to Snow Canyon State Park and there were was a sand dune and the sand was so soft and awesome to play in!
Madelyn loved the sand too. She also tried to sneak a couple bites of it here and there so we had to watch her like a hawk :)
I just can't get enough of her cute face!
The kids enjoyed being buried in the sand

We also did some exploring around other parts of the park

We loved all of the beautiful rocks

We also did a little miniature golfing which was fun

We also visited the St. George temple and that was cool. They have a neat visitors center there. While in St. George we also took a tour of the Brigham Young winter home which was kind of cool and we had a lot of fun swimming at the hotel pool.
