What a Small World!

Okay so a few weeks ago I decided to try to connect with some of my Uruguayan friends from my mission via facebook. While there I connected with Karolina, a girl that we got to be friends with and who introduced us to her best friend, who we then taught. I knew she had moved to California years ago. Well we found out that she lives right here in the same city as me just a few blocks from my house! It was so crazy! It has been so fun to reconnect with her. She also just had a baby who I got to visit and hold. What a sweetie!

Speaking of sweet babies. We got to spend a week in Provo for Thanksgiving and also for our new nephew Landon's blessing. It was so fun to get to meet him and hold him. He sure is a cutie!
Also while in Provo my mom put everyone to work to build a new stairway. It reminded us of those many summers in Montana working as my mom's landscaping slaves.
Dal was really excited to use some of grandpa's tools and get out there and help. He was really good at moving the dirt around:) This is what it looked like in the beginning of the project...

Oh yes and these are the slaves...

And what would slaves be without a slave driver

... This is what the beautiful finished stairway looked like
Back to talking about babies. Have I mentioned how much Dal loves babies. He always asks me when I am going to have another baby growing in my tummy so that he can have another baby brother or sister. So needless to say he loved being around Landon. He loved giving him little hugs and kisses and being close to him.

Tiffany was even nice enough to let him hold Landon. Just look at that face. He was loving it! We got some sweet pics of them....

Braelyn was also fascinated with Landon and always wanted to touch his face. We had to keep her at a safe distance :)

Also in Provo we celebrated B's First birthday. We made a jello cake with pudding frosting. She loved the frosting and couldn't keep her little fingers out of it :) Chase should soon be emailing me more pics from her b-day so when he does maybe I'll post more.
Which brings us to now. We are so excited for the Christmas season. We made some yummy candy cane cookies. Jake's mom gave us the recipe and we thought they turned out great. We shared them with one of Dal's teachers who cried when she said good-bye to him. (He's moving to a different preschool classroom and she won't be teaching him anymore. She just loved him!)Dal made a gingerbread house at preschool which we thought turned out pretty cute.
We have a lot of fun plans for this next week--the week of Christmas. We will try to take fun pics and share our adventures!
Merry Christmastime to all!
