We considered heading back to Xcaret or going into Playa Del Carmen for our last day but in the end we decided to stay at our sweet resort to relax and play some games. We tried out ping pong, tossed a football around, entered a beach volleyball tournament, played in the pool (including some water aerobics), tried a new restaurant, bought souvenirs, and really enjoyed our last day!
If this had been all we did the entire week, it still would have been a wonderful vacation!
Thought about playing golf at the resort but decided not to :)

We returned to one more towel animal for our last night as well (with pedals sprinkled various places throughout our room)
What a great vacation! We had so much fun and it was such a nice break from life! We are so happy that we were able to go!

I saw every picture and read every text. It was all wonderful. I am so happy you got to go, too. Just staying at the resort would have been treat enough. I am just so happy you were able to do this. Looking at the pics of the tourquoise water - that is one sharp detail I remember from when we went to Cancun. The water was so tourquoise and on the horizon, I realised whey they call the ocean service the Navy. That water on the horizon is such a beautiful shade of navy blue. Love the posts. Thanks for taking the time to put all of the pics up.
