Happy 7th Birthday Braelyn!

Chase made this little gem. So cute. So we used this as Braelyn's invitation for her birthday party
Braelyn is really into ponies so she got some fun pony people from us for her birthday
During her party we played a pin the tail on the pony game and the kids loved it

During the party we played games, opened presents and had some cake and ice cream. The games we played were Pin the Tail on the Pony, Don't Eat Pete, a music/dancing game with candy, and a game where you race carrying the candy on the spoon.

We just love this awesome and fun 7 year old. She is such a great kid! She is so sweet, thoughtful and keeps life fun!

Reading Time, Ice Skating and Snow

I love this sweet sibling moment. Mads wanted Dal to read his Plant vs Zombies book to her so he did :) She snuggled in and seemed to really enjoy the story and some good big brother time.

Mads loves her big brother and sister so much! Every morning when she gets up she asks "Where is Dal and Brae?" "Are they coming?" And then she goes and wakes them up :) And she just loves to play with them on the bouncy house or play toys with them or anything.

The kids started ice skating lessons again and they have been having fun with that. So almost every Saturday after skating lessons we free skate. Jake bought me some awesome skates because I love skating with the kids and this way I don't have to rent skates every time I go.

Mads loves playing outside in the snow. She convinced Dal to go play with her and they built a cool snow fort.

Happy Halloween 2015

At work our department entered the annual pumpkin decorating/carving contest with the pumpkin patient receiving radiation treatment with this linear accelerator that we built (mainly Eva did all of the work) But we thought it turned out pretty cool.

Another department entered this one I thought this one was really cute and creative.

Here are our cute little trick-or-treaters. We hit the tri-ward Trunk-or-Treat and then we took the kids trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. Dal went alone with some of his friends. He was pretty excited to get to go with some friends. He is getting so old!

We had our 2nd Annual Neighborhood Halloween party. We had food, fun, homemade root beer and plenty of places to sit in Cindy's garage. It was fun and the kids had a great time.

We also went to the hospital's annual Halloween event and it was a lot of fun. Our department dressed like 50's people which is why I'm wearing that awesome dress and why my hair is a little crazy :)

Curious George Party

So it has been our family tradition to have a themed summer party. (This all started when Dal and Brae were little because both of them have December birthdays so we wanted to have a reason to have a party and buy new toys in the summer too :) This year we kind of missed the summer but we still wanted to have a party so we had a Fall party instead. We decided to pick a theme that Madelyn would get really excited about so that's how we ended up with  Curious George party.

We got some fun Curious George books and cute little toys and Mads was really excited about it

My parents came for the party too! They have been a part of pretty much all of our themed parties so that has been a fun part of the tradition too.

Some Random Septemberness

Dal and Mads eating Popsicles under the table and laughing. It doesn't get any cuter than that :)
I don't know where our first day of school pics ended up but Dal started 4th grade (Ms. Lucero) and Braelyn started 1st grade (Mrs. Heitzmann).

We all went and ran/walked in the Run for the Health of It run sponsored by the hospital. It was fun and everyone got really cool medals at the end.

The kids had a contest to see who could make Daddy the best sandwich. I think they both turned out pretty awesome and it was a tie :)

These two cute girls have fun painting together

Bear Lake Trip

We decided to take a trip to Bear Lake before school started so Labor Day weekend we headed over to Bear Lake and stayed at Ideal Beach Resort. We didn't realize how close we are to Bear Lake-it only took about 2 hours to get there. The kids were really excited about the bunk bed in our room :)

The kids loved playing in the water at the beach

And they had a fun swimming pool too

The resort had a fun little miniature golf course

They also had a cool playground right on the beach

It was a great trip!

Las Vegas

I had to go to Las Vegas for a training and while I was there I decided I would hit a couple shows. I went to the Cirque du Solei water show (O) which was awesome and I also went to the Michael Jackson One Cirque show. It was AMAZING!!! The dancing, music and acrobatics were so awesome and I'm so glad I went.

A weird mirror selfie. Yep it was just me hanging out in Vegas by myself :)
