Summertime

At the end of Dal's 3rd grade year he was given a Citizenship award which is awarded to those who were good to others or helped other kids.Good job Dal!

Brae didn't miss much school so she received an outstanding attendance award. Good job B!

I was shocked to see this little bunny out my window at work one day. It was so shocking because that window area is like a big pit. Some nice people at work helped rescue the bunny and get it back up to its other baby bunny siblings.

The Harris Coloradians and Emily came and visited us this summer. It was really fun to have them here and we had a great time.

And of course we had to eat some yummy Cafe Rio :)

We had some crazy rain storms which nearly flooded our basement, did flood our neighbors basement so we spend hours helping them get buckets of water out, and it delayed our yard getting put in.

Dal is quite the lego builder and it's cool to see the creations he comes up with

Mads and I and Dal and Brae had fun playing the Angry Birds game one Sunday afternoon

I just love that cute face!

I took the kids to the fair with Eva and Miranda and we had a lot of fun. We went on lots of rides, saw some animals and ate some food. By the end of our riding rides streak I was feeling pretty sick because a lot of the rides spin round and round. After we ate pizza Dal went on the Gravitron again and he threw up, but it didn't seem to phase him much :)

Camp Invention: Every summer here they have some pretty awesome camps and activities for kids at really great prices. Both Dal and Brae did a variety of fun camps. This is the second year that Dal did Camp Invention and he loved it.

Our finally finished yard. This was pretty much a whole summer project and it took a lot of work and a lot of stress but it was so nice to finally have it done. We still have to figure out what we are going to plan in the front and do that this nextSpring but it is so nice to have a yard. It is amazing how much you take grass for granted until you have nothing but dirt.
