| We started out Madelyn's birthday by doing a little shopping to get some new stuff for the birthday girl...a couple new outfits, snacks, a Hello Kitty bath mat so that she can take baths without slipping and sliding in the big tub, etc. |

| We also spent some time at a really cool splash park right by our house. The kids all had a great time! |

| For her birthday we all enjoyed some Papa Murphy's pizza. We are pretty sure that's what she wanted :) |

| So I had some great plans to make her a fun cake but after spending forever in Walmart Jake convinced me (not that it really took much convincing :) that I might not really feel like making a cake and maybe we should just get something from Walmart. And Madelyn wasn't feeling very well so we weren't sure what she would feel up to eating anyway...So we thought she would enjoy eating a big yummy blueberry muffin. (And she did :) |

| I can't believe this sweet baby is already one. The time has gone so fast yet it seems like she has been with us for a long time. She has brought so much joy to our family and we are so lucky to have her in our family! |
