Christmas Decorations

So we had a little fun decorating for Christmas this year. It is so nice to have a house, a fireplace mantle and just more space to work with. I tried to capture some good pics but the pics just don't look as cool as it does in real life.
I love these hurricane glasses/candle holders that I got from Pier1. It's fun because you can change out what you put in the bottom and/or change the candles so there will be some variety throughout the year.

These guys are what you see on your way downstairs.

We thought it would be fun to add a bit of light to our banister/railing. We have since added colorful lights to the bottom and leading downstairs as well. It looks great at night!
I've already got the red accents going on upstairs so the Christmas decorations fit right in up there.
We are happy that our Christmas Star Wars friends can join us for Christmas this year. They are supposed to be door greeters but so far they have spent most of their time in Dal's room :)
We decided to go with some non-traditional teals and lavenders downstairs because we thought it would be different and fun, plus we already have a lot of light blue & teal accents downstairs.
We also kind of have a peacock thing going on downstairs which is why our tree is topped with a fun little peacock feather :) And the 'snow' on the tree helps it match our fireplace. So when you are downstairs and see them together it looks really nice!
Our stockings with glitter letters for our names. Who knew we had such symmetrical names :)
We found a teal tree skirt that was a perfect match to the teal stockings so we kind of had to get it.

And then you have to have some complimentary pillows :)

Well there you have it. We love Christmastime and are all pretty excited for this Holiday season!
