Park Hopping

It has finally felt like Spring here the last couple of days and Jake just finished up his 2nd semester in his PhD program, so we decided it was time to have some quality playing time as a family. We decided to explore some of the parks that we'd never been to in the surrounding areas of Logan.

We first went to a park that we happened upon while we were lost looking for another park. It was a neat park though because it was secluded and peaceful and had some nice green grass and a little stream running through with a path and a few bridges.

Dalyn loved watching the water run down the stream

Dal, being a little adventurer, decided to lead me up the side of a mountain and then we found a nice tree stump for him to sit on

He also led his daddy down a sort of a path with lots of tree branches strewn along the way.
He just loves being outside and exploring.

Dal loved running back and forth across the bridges

The next park we went to was really cool because it was a big playground designed by children and their families and they did a great job. It was really fun.

We all loved the park hopping and had a great day together as a family!

Tasha, we have a park like that here in Washington, my kids call it the "Castle" park. Us mommies love it because it's all enclosed with a little fence like that so we can make sure our kids are corraled. Your little guy is just so cute!!!!

Ok, the picks of DAl at the park are like "He looks like such a little man already." He is growing up fast. Have you heard from Lu yet?
